Friends, it has been almost 2 months since I last wrote anything. Life has been full to say the least. I took the USMLE Step 1 exam. I packed up everything from my life in my parents home for the last 7 months and went back to Toronto for 2 weeks. Those 2 weeks were spent with my husband, packing and cleaning and basically trying to move in again to our “new home” that I have barely lived in. Then we got on a plane and flew to India, and that is where I am now.
Hi beautiful people.
I’m starting a new small series on the topic of Breaking Karmic cycles. This series contains 3 parts.
- The past is the past is the past: How to move on from your past
- Life is not a crisis: What to do when you are tired of your own drama
- Breaking free from your Karmic Cycles
The past: A story we love to tell. Or a story we love to hate. Either way, as long as we keep digging into our past, we’re stuck. Because life doesn’t happen in the past. Life happens now.
Why do we look into the past?
Why is our past so mesmerizing? Why does it draw us in with so much magnetism?
Some time ago I wrote a post called “Karma and Dharma: An Introduction.” which is basically a really basic description of a complex topic. Today I would like to go a bit deeper into the subject of Karma and why it is important for us to break free from our Karma.
From the moment you were born to this very moment that you are reading this post, you have accumulated karma. Everything you have done, or not done, everything you have thought, felt and said, your family, your home, your friends, your experiences – all these things have become inputs for your karma. Each thing influences who you are today. It is life memory. Even the way you think, feel and experience your life is influenced by your past inputs. Your body, your mind, your emotions and your energies is coloured by your karma.
Oh, how I wish I would post in my blog more! Early morning is usually the time I am most inspired to spend time on writing for my blog, but I always (sadly) decide that it would be better for me to channel that energy on studying instead. And so I do. And then by around 7pm I’m too mentally tired to write 😦 But anyway, I am so happy to be here tonight!
Today we are going to talk about our spiritual bank account…..
Envy is a force in life that chains you to the person that you envy. I believe there are karmic consequences to being envious and judgmental which is what we will discuss today!
