The flower does not need to call the bee, she only needs to bloom.
A seed spends a lot of time under the dirt. It cannot see the sun, it cannot see beyond the dark and damp that surrounds it.
It takes a lot of strength and purpose to break through the surface of the soil. But the little seed knows that only when she sees the sun, can she turn into a flower.
It takes a lot of time and effort to learn how to move through the darkness of life, to learn how to develop a good relationship with yourself, to learn how to love someone, to learn how to be a good person. I guess we just have to give ourselves time and be gentle. We have to keep looking for the sun.
Over time the little seed grows it’s roots in the soil. We think the dirt is bad, that it is dark, that it is not good and it is not beautiful, but the dark soil is what feeds us and anchors us. It is here that we build our roots. We build our roots in the soil, not in the clouds. So even while this little seed is in the darkness of the soil, she still knows she has to keep working. She must build roots. Strong roots. Strong roots so that she can grow as high as she can.
One day the little seed comes through the surface. It took a very long time and it was very difficult thing to do. And the little seed, she is tired, but for the first time she sees the sun and she feels a sense of purpose.
And gradually life becomes warm. Life becomes bright and light and warm. And like a flower you will bloom. And when you are finally filled with this bright warmness, you can open your heart and it will touch everyone around you. You can share your sweet perfume with the world.
I am in the dark, the damp. And I don’t know what kind of flower I will become. 🙁
