About Malavika

You are very welcome to my small corner of the internet. My name is Malavika.

I write about:

Intentional living

You can transform your life through intentional living. This means you take the time to decide what you are here to do, and you do it.

I have hundreds of blog posts on mindset, productivity, life design, happiness and living well.

Conscious motherhood & awakened love

I am a mother to a delightful little almost 3-year old girl

I write about conscious respectful parenting as well as sharing the many lessons and experiences of motherhood.

I am also mother to a sweet angel born silent and sleeping at 6 months of pregnancy. I write about pregnancy and stillbirth and hold space and provide resources for women who walk the painful path of losing a child.

And I am a wife devoted to learning how to love my husband better and more deeply every single day. I write about the journey from a blind love to an awakened love.

Spirituality

My spiritual practices have created within me a happiness that I have never had access to before. It is such a shame that I have lived so much of my life believing that I could only experience that intense happiness only when something great was about to happen or had just happened. I believed that ecstasy is fleeting and that as you grow up, it becomes rarer and rarer to come by. But I am learning that this is not true. And that there are other ways to live.

So I write about joy and happiness and how to find ecstasy and magic in our every day mundane life.

  5. Hi! I was miserable 8 years ago, but now that I’m 21, I made an effort to try to change by i dunno yet, had a lot of plans, currently the only thing good and positive i’ve been doing is reposting inspirational pictures of rooms in my blog. I also tried Ananda Marga Yoga last year, attended 3 sessions, and I felt good everytime we finish although I’ve stopped because i don’t have extra money anymore (because i spend them instead on more food 😛 ). I recently graduated and will attend medical school this coming June. Anyway I hope I could be better too. 🙂

  10. hey! was going thru wordpress n read Malavika’s blog… did a double take…. see I am Malvika too…without the ‘a’ 🙂 In 2006 when you were 16 I was 26 and at a weird time in my life too. I still feel underwater most of the time but am deterred by turning to anything spiritual by just the thought that maybe I am too shallow and materialistic for all that. Your words have made me rethink. thank you and good luck with medicine…

  14. Malavika, I have to say I see a lot of who I am in you and your blog- and it’s more than just your excellent taste in themes ;). Thanks for reiterating and reminding me of the things I really needed to hear in your blog on morning routines. I will be a devoted follower! Keep up the great work and best of luck in Ireland! I’m sure you will be an amazing doctor! 🙂 -Tara (haute-law.com)

  15. What a beautiful photograph. Now if only we could remove the girl from it 😉 Joking aside, I find myself like you were at 16. I’ve dabbled in yoga, Buddhism, and Deepok Chopra etc., but nothing sticks. Is there any hope for a cynical pessimist?

    1. Haha, if you continue following my blog, I will be posting a blogpost on my photographs from Cape Town, and I promise there will be a lot of similar photographs without “the girl” 😉

      Thanks for commenting!

  16. Nice to meet u here. I very enjoy when reading your blog! ^^
And can I know what theme u r using? I like it much!
Why you dont use categories on your blog?

    1. I am using the theme: CHUNK on my blog. I like it a lot!
I do use categories on my blog, but they are placed at the bottom of my page, because my theme does not allow otherwise.

  17. Hello and good day to you,

My name is Karen and I work for MediaSerps.

I am interested in placing a text link for one of my clients that will be located on the homepage of malavikasuresh.wordpress.com.

The rate that we extend for this suggestion is $200 per year and I will have it renewed after a year as a compromise.

If you agree, I will send you a snap-shot so you can have an idea on how this placement would look like.

Is it possible to run this type of placement on your site? I’ll be sending the payment through Paypal.

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Thanks and best regards,

    Karen Collins

  18. Hi Malavika,
    This is an interesting self-introduction.
All the best for your dream of being the best doctor. If not with the prescriptions, I am sure with your smiling attitude, you will make a difference 🙂

  19. “a catchy tagline u have- A doctor by day and diva by ni8… “…. awesome 😛 , makes people dive in to see your blog… and good motivational lines you write …. great work ,..would love to read more… keep writing and inspiring world around you.. gud luck 🙂

  20. Medical student by day, psychic diva by night ………… what a catchy line… makes people dive in to see your blog…. and then ur inspirational blog makes people go “READ MORE”
its very nice that you keep people inspired by your positive thoughts and suggestions..
    nice work gud luck 🙂

    1. Haha, this is not the first time I have heard that. I don’t know if I agree, but either way, I am very flattered because I find her very nice to look at!

  21. Its great what you did at such young age. Congats. I took 20 yrs just to heal and now enjoy deliberate creation of my life. But its funny i wrote almost same post as yours today on my Fb and when i saw yours i thought its a special reason for that. I have great skills for healing, helped few ppl yet never started to charge for it. Now i think is the time to just begin and get more confident about it.

  22. Very good post about women from Ukraine. I just stumbled upon your website and wished to say that I’ve truly enjoyed surfing around your blog posts. Anyway I hope you write again very soon particularly if you cover online dating!

  24. Hi Malavika. I am also interested in spirituality. I am 26 years old and working in the USA. I am an IITian. Will you marry me?

  25. I have found your blog earlier this week, and I have to say that you inspire me. I am a 19 year-old and I realized that I’ve been just seeing life go by during many years, and some of your posts are helping me in having positive attitude and eagerness to improve myself and actually do something for my happiness. Thank you.

  26. I tend not to leave a comment, but I browsed a few of the
remarks here About Malavika | Malavika Suresh. I actually
do have a couple of questions for you if it’s okay.
Is it simply me or does it look as if like some of the responses come across like they are left by
brain dead visitors? 😛 And, if you are posting at
additional places, I would like to keep up with everything fresh you have to post.
Could you list of every one of all your public sites like
your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

  27. HI
Today only i saw your blog and started looking each of your posts.
I started doing meditation since one month and trying to get good result.
I saw many things here eg. waking up early hours .
My parents always say to wake up before 5am (Gods will wake up),at 6AM(Ghosts will wake up) but i laughed on them by hearing this all..
Now after reading your post i think i have misunderstood about them.
I am here to ask your guidance in Meditation as i am new and finding ways for better result.
    I hope you will guide..

    Thanks
    Praveen

  32. Hello Malavika. Your posts are amazing, and the about Prana is really cool. I joined recently in pranic healing and has not worked out much since I took a break. After reading your posts, I feel like I have to add something into my life instead of just regular living. Articles about Meditation, Intuitions, healing, Crystals, Chakras, life source, spiritual guides, and many more on your blog are really fascinating. Keep up the good work. 🙂

    1. Hello Sandeep,
Thank you so much for sharing your kindness with me. I’m glad you found something valuable on this little blog of mine. I know you wrote this comment a while back. Apologies for my late response. How has life been since then? Did you start “adding to your life” as you mentioned? I completely understand what you mean by that. Spirituality can add so much depth to your life, that even the most simple acts of daily life, become tools of transformation.

  33. Nice Blog, Best wishes for more deeper Inner journey and hope it will motivate many more!!!!

  34. Hello ! Wonderful page thank you very much for the welcome. My name is Laura and I am every moment that i have ever lived . Is this page still up to date? I hope so ☺️ Greetings

Thanks to you I joined the community, subscribed and maybe even going to start my own blog..

    With greetings from Finland,

  36. Hi Malvika,

Interesting blog site. I was just wondering where to find more information about Chakra theory you have put up there. I am a new entrant in this Spiritual world and may be my knowledge is limited. However, the Chakra theory where two become dominant per age is totally new and I have never heard about it before.

    Regards,

  37. Hi Malvika,
Thanks for your Blog. It’s given me the much needed direction that I was looking for and also the impetus to look within first , than without. Of the several tough phases that I’ve been through and many really awesome phases as well, I’m just undergoing another challenge right now. I see why , though. Most definitely for my spiritual upliftmet. I’m just wishing I come out a better individual on the other side of it. 😇
    Best,
    D

    1. Hi D,

      Love
