Today is a very special day. Today is April’s first ever swimming lesson! I know what you’re thinking: “She’s a lab, of course she is going to love water!” but alas – you are mistaken. She’s a silly puppy and scared of things and takes her time to assess the situation.
We had to start really slow. She would only go as far as her feet would touch the ground, and then come rushing out.
After about 30 minutes of playing, April finally taught herself how to swim with a big splash! We were soooooooooooooo proud.
And she even came back with the stick like a normal dog (for once).
Faint traces of my tan line stripes from my sandals. Loving it.
When we were not in the water – April kept burying her head into the burrows. She is so silly!
